Abstract

Photoelectric observations of the magnitudes and colors determined with the Lick Observatory 12-inch refractor and the 9-inch Oddie refractor of the Australian Commonwealth Observatory, during the course of several programs, are gathered into the present catalogue of 833 stars.

Observations of some ten percent of these stars were published in 1950 (Eggen O.J. 1950, ApJ 112, 141), but additional measures of all but a few have been made since that time. The magnitudes and colors of nine Polar Sequence stars, NPS 6, 2r, 4r, 10, 13, 16, 19, and 12r, determined by Stebbins, Whitford and Johnson, are used as standards for defining the (P,V)E system.

The previously published results for members of the Pleiades, Praesepe, Hyades, and Coma Berenices clusters are not included but will be discussed separately.
