The Jacobsen RI photometric system

Abstract
The infra-red colour index R-I is given for 330 stars, the majority of
which are G and K type giants brighter than 7th apparent visual magnitude.
An ITT FW 118 photomultiplier with an end-on S1 cathode cooled with
dry-ice was employed. The results have been transformed to R-I in
Johnson's system.
